Mole Cola
330 mL bottle

History Mole Cola was created in 2012, inspired by a 1954 cookbook of Piedmontese recipes. The company formed a partnership with Eataly to distribute around the world. The award-winning curvy bottle was created in 2017, inspired by the dome of the Mole Antonelliana, a landmark building in Turin which inspired the name of the drink as well. Review A sweet and fruity cola. Its got a bit of sizzle and a hint of cola bitterness, but mostly the impression is a sweet cherry bark flavor which ends sort of flat on the tongue. I prefer more of a bitter than fruity cola profile, but I like that this doesn't seem as salty as a Coke or Pepsi. It seems cleaner in flavor, maybe slightly healthier? I really dig the cool shape and texture of the glass bottle. The mix of flavors is intriguing but I'm not crazy about the bit of bitterness which follows the sweetness. Seems more of a downer than a perk of refreshment on my tongue.
